I wouldn’t be where I am now if I didn’t learn from anyone or anything. I’m still learning how to be a great mom, teacher, friend and sensible. No I’m not a horrid person but I know that I wasn’t raised with proper knowledge on how to simply survive. God made a way out for me to learn the operations of life, schooling, jobs and people.
God will even put people on our path to help us as well, all in his favor and perfect will God will make sure and justify that he will not let us go hungry for too long. If wanting to become an entrepreneur God will place us in certain elements for us to thrive. He will walk with us through the storm, he’ll shield us from the rain, and be a bulletproof vest when the enemy gets out of line.
The Lord will do anything to protect us and give us strength to push through, but in order to be in line with what we pray for, we shall be prepared for what’s next to come. Never watch out for what we pray for, it only benefits if we meant it.
How I got to experience working in the childcare field I started off working with my mother, I was eleven years old. She had her own facility for twenty plus years, and I got some basics from her which I didn’t get much because I was really young and I did not like children back then. I use to hate it when my mom would resume caring for children in our home, because I knew I had to be the one watching those children.
Working with my mother I learned how to change a diaper, play with younger kids, do activities with older kids and explore different children’s music that are teachable and educational led. While continuously working for my mother, I felt forced and obligated to work at her daycare. To remind you, I hated children back then so help her and being present got on my nerves at every approach.
Days turned into months I stopped working for my mom when I turned eighteen. A couple of months laters I began volunteering at different daycares, due to a program I was on called “work source”. Months continued on and I appeared to still be in the childcare field at the age of twenty two-twenty three.
I attend Florida State College Of Jacksonville, to study for the qualifications that I needed to work within a childcare facility. Within two weeks I received seven certificates for the modules I studied for and passed all my test, except for one that I failed once and passed on the second try. Then after that I got hired at an childcare agency as a substitute teacher.
Months turned into years now that I’ve been in the childcare field for six years, completed my state mandated 45 hour courses, earned my CDA (Childcare Development Associates) about to receive my staff credential and now go back to school for my directors. I never would have thought I would make it thus far from being a preteen to now a mom of three girls, pursuing a career in childcare development.
I went from being my moms helper, baby sitter, floater, Assistant Teacher, to now Lead Toddler one teacher and Assistant center Director in a learning center. Will I pursue on in this career yes, I’m willing to become more educated and receive all sorts of credentials and certificates, let along finish my degree in childcare development since I started it back in 2012.
This is not the end of the road for me I will not stop until I open my own center to care for infants. So far it’s turning out to be great, but in order for to say that it’s turning out to be great I had be placed in places that we’re very uncomfortable for me so that I could learn how to teach, nurture, maintain in a childcare setting.
Cast all your cares on the Lord, whatever it is you are seeking in prayer for if it’s meant to be, God will let it happen.
